The images of the vehicles which have been making rounds on social media have the pictures of Governor Samuel Ortom who is a senatorial candidate and those of some other party candidates in Benue.
However, the picture of Atiku was not included which might be further testimony to the resolve by Ortom and other aggrieved PDP governors (G5) who have vowed not to support Atiku’s presidential ambition except Iyorchia Ayu steps down as the PDP National Chairman and is replaced by a southerner.

Farouq Writes Finance Minister, Demands Explanation On 206bn Budget Padding
A letter has been forwarded by the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Umar Farouq to the Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning, Zainab Ahmed, over the N206 billion inserted into her ministry’s 2023 Appropriation Bill. Farouq insisted that she is not aware of how N206 billion was inserted into her ministry’s budget.
In a related development, the Minister of Defence, Bashir Magashi also accused the Finance Ministry of inserting N11bn into his ministry’s 2023 budget.
FG Threatens To Sack Civil Servants Caught Leaking Official Documents
The Federal Government has threatened to sack any civil servants caught doing leaking official documents on social media and other platforms. In a circular dated August 2, 2021, Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Dr Folasade Yemi-Esan, said her office would be relying on the provisions of the Public Service Rules 030401 and 030402 in dismissing those who continue to leak official documents.
The circular read, “The attention of the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation has been drawn to the incessant unauthorised disclosure of official documents/information on social media platforms.
